Rite 13

Our Rite 13 class is made up either of 6th and 7th graders or 7th and 8th graders, depending on the year.

Rite 13 at EasterThe design of this two-year program is to celebrate the creative potential of each individual young person. Class time revolves around a variety of topics that help deepen a child's understanding of what it means to have a personal relationship with God within a faith community. In the second year, our Rite 13 program culminates in a rite of passage ceremony before the class begins its formal preparation for Confirmation the following year.

In addition to regular class time on Sunday mornings, the Rite 13 member and mentors gather regularly for service projects, movie nights, retreats and trips to visit other faith communities at worship.
