Lenten Booklet

The Season of Lent
is one lived transition:
from winter to spring,
from darkness to light,
from death into life.

Forty days
In which we reach for the means of grace
and grow towards the hope of glory,
echoing the transformation of Easter:
From the cross,
To the grave,
To the sky.

Kay Peterson
